NCAR|UCAR Communications handles science communication, media relations, and internal communication across the organization.
MEDIA RELATIONS
BRAND STANDARDS
Our visual presence, digitally and in print, represents our collective identity and shared efforts to advance science in service to society. Communications provides guidance to labs, programs, and departments in the implementation of these organization-wide standards.
Style Guide
Our guide to writing style and a handful of grammar questions clarifies the editing practices of NCAR|UCAR Communications. It reflects style decisions made over the course of many years, but is continually updated and expanded. Other staff are not compelled to follow it, but the guide has proven useful to anyone in NCAR or UCAR seeking advice on style matters.
